Set a separate time limit and a maximum amount you can afford to lose completely. Do not increase the limit after you start.

Do not use credit, loans, cards intended for essential spending or money belonging to other people.

Do not chase losses
A losing streak does not make the next bet more likely to win. Increasing stakes to recover losses is a warning sign.

Secrecy, debt, conflict, anxiety, neglect of work or family, inability to stop and gambling to escape problems indicate the need for a break and specialist support.

Use self-exclusion
Under the procedure approved by ONJN Order no. 79/2025, a self-exclusion request may be submitted in person to Romania's National Gambling Office (ONJN) or its territorial offices; electronically to autoexcludere@onjn.gov.ro with a qualified electronic signature; through a notarised declaration or a declaration certified by a lawyer; or through licensed gambling operators, which forward the request to ONJN. Always check the official procedure before submitting. CornerEngine is not a gambling operator and does not administer self-exclusion.
