Cookies

Cookie Policy

CornerEngine currently uses only technologies required for security, authentication and storing an interface preference.

1

cornerengine_session

A first-party, strictly necessary cookie used for authentication, session maintenance, roles, permissions and protecting forms against unauthorised requests. It is configured as HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax and Secure in production. The maximum session duration is 8 hours. The cookie is not used for advertising.

2

cornerengine-theme

A value stored in localStorage, not in a cookie. It stores only the light or dark preference for the authenticated interface and remains in the browser until the user changes it or deletes the website's local data.

3

No analytics or marketing

The current version does not intentionally install cookies for analytics, advertising, remarketing or behavioural profiling. For this reason, CornerEngine does not currently display an Accept all / Reject all banner.

4

Resources delivered through a CDN

Bootstrap and Bootstrap Icons are currently loaded through cdn.jsdelivr.net. The provider may receive the technical data required to deliver the files, but CornerEngine does not use this connection to create an advertising profile.

5

Future changes

Before any optional analytics or marketing technology is enabled, it will remain blocked until the user makes a choice, and the website will receive a proper preference manager. This policy will be updated at the same time as the technical change.

Browser controls

Cookies and localStorage data can be viewed or deleted through the browser settings. Blocking the session cookie may prevent authentication and use of the internal area.
